Getting to Sluice Pond on the North Shore
Sluice Pond is located off of Rt. 129, two miles from the junction of I-95, 128 and Rt. 1. The pond is a 1/2 mile southeast of the local community hospital on Rt. 129. Accessable by public transportation, the MBTA schedules daily bus service to various points along the pond. Wyoma Square connects with Central Square in Lynn and connection points with both the communter rail and transit lines.
Access is easy to Boston and to Logan Airport from nearby Rt.1, I95/128, and through downtown Lynn on Rts. 1-A and 107. The commuter rail is available in Central Square Lynn and in 20 minutes connects with communities to the south as far as North Station in Boston, next door to the Boston Garden for sports fans. The MBTA offers public transit from Wonderland in Revere on the Blue Line. Sluice Pond in non-commuter rush is 20 minutes by car outside of the cultural and education capital of New England. The North Shore also sponsors many wonderful cultural activities throughout the year. The commuter rail runs north to Salem, Beverly and beyond.
